Officers kit or SL - optional/extra tracer mags

Post by Bo.Staahle »

I'm fairly new to PR and loving every minute of it.

As mentioned by another dane in the Tracer thread danish officers and squad leaders have used tracers
to direct the fire of the group in a firefight.
Have been directed by it on the tactical firerange with a lot of success.
Being MG3 gunner I usually can't hear a word of the commands and neither can my spotter.
Having a visual direction of fire can then be very valuable.
The downside (also mentioned in other threads) is that the SL then has to use his fire with care and be sparse.
Many people don't like the tracers and thats why I suggest that tracer mags be optional or an extra 2 all tracer mags.

NICE suggestion usualy I use the attack command to direct fire but the attack marker usualy doesn't land where I want it to or worse yet when the attack marker is on the target the orange smoke that my squad can see obfuscates the enemy shooter

edit: oh and an all tracer round magazine would look pretty too
