[Help!] Can someone help me on my map?

i made this map today i worked all day on it and now when i tryed to test the map it crashes without an error... i dont know whats up. i look at every little problem...

also can you help me in making the flags invisable. and anytihng that i might of missed or that you want to add/change.

please pm so i can send you the map to help me.
and feel free to put up your thoughs on the map.

Don't try to make flags invisible, just put them underground and increase caping radius (like most people do). That's all I can help you.

... wth i placed down a mine on the ground cause an enemy tank was coming. then our tank (beinbg stupid) ran over my dam mine then i got an insta kick....

yea i think this map has a great layout but ive never been that guy to make a map look pretty only VERY FUN!!! im just gonna upload the map here and ill let you guys fix it up... im just to lazy and i got to much projects up my but to finish it within the next week.

You're passing it on that quickly? tsk tsk... Does it really not mean anything to you to just give up and cast it off to someone else so soon? Or are you working on a newer leeter better PR map this time around? Eh? :)

well i am passing it on cause right now im having problems with the map and i can only really work on it during the weekends and also thats rare.. rather have this leet map done.
also did you look at the map?

and did i say i gave up i would like some help just to get some things working then get the map back and ill continue on it.

If you simply post the beginnings of a map, dont get any following or anyone interested, what made you think people would just up and request to be the ones to take it over for you?

No one has any connection to the map, no one has watched it grow like you have, no one has any reason to take yours instead of making their own from their own inspiration...

What were you needing work done on? What % does it crash at? You cant just expect someone to start from scratch trying to solve a problem on your map.

I'm sorry if I sound harsh, but Ive been working on a map since May and I'm still struggling. Only after I showed my determination and got a following of great members was it possible to get the assistance I am getting currently. One thing is for sure, you cannot be "lazy" when it comes to mapping. No one will care about your map if you dont care enough about it to begin with...

I really dont see why youre so surprised that no one has taken you up on letting them finish it for you...

im not really suprised no one has taken it... its just i have no clue were to begin in trying to fix the crash, also i want to put some pr statics in but they wont work in the editor. im still editing my map its just i didnt change any of the text files unless the editor changes them.

then help me here
How do i make my trees in overgrowth stand upright even if there on a hill?
How do i get PR statics to work on my map.. it says something about detail 1 or 0...
How would i go about putting in PR thins like the AA gun and Rally points... i tryed it but i didnt see any mesh all i saw was a blue square...

help me on those then maby the map could be finished...

If you have bothered reading any tuts it would have explained it in all of them.

as for the trees, set the normalsomething to 0 or 1, or as close as you can get it too them without having the floating. Cant remember the excat name of it, in the overgrowth settings. exsplains this on afew overgrowth tuts im sure...

Also I would look out for afew other tuts too. Search the BFeditor site for any problems you have also...

and umm i dont ahve a server.zip or a client.zip in my map folder how would i make one...

My suggestion is to make a thread in the community section based solely on your map. Talk about it, ask for feedback, tips, suggestions. Upload pictures of progress, etc. EVERYTHING and ANYTHING to get the community behind it.

From there, things start to just "happen"

Yeah like OkitaMakoto's "suggestion" turned into his first map :-P

Post the init.con file for your map so we'll see if that's the problem.
