Sandbag walls pretty useful?

I would like to see the sandbags become higher, at least so high you have to stand to shoot over them. Then I would also like to see a gap in them in the middle that you can shoot through crouched.

This way you can use them as extra cover for your bunker. At the moment a supply truck with a supply-box next to is is about as effective as a bunker!

+It costs less and it can be created without any teamwork.

In general the bunkers need to be beefed up imo. Higher sandbags would help.

I place them whenever my Bunker/Firebase's not too hidden, for cover/firepositions. I also often use them acively when others place them in usefull positions.
Like Fuzz wrote on Mestia works alot of places, work with the squad and hide behind until you hear them come running or they're spotted out.
I also like to place them as roadblocks in tight spots.
I hate it when people exploit its too-large foundation to create the huge walls covering entrances.

The generation of Tickets and Car is just a big factor for me when Commanding, as Spawnpoint and Supplyzone (for kits).
The truck cost 5 tickets, the bunker/firebase'll only have to stay out of harms way for 10 minutes before they are even cheaper.
What i really love is having the Designated Engineer riding with me in the Support-jeep, not having to spawn a single Truck the entire round. AND getting to those tricky locations.

They are useful in many situations but would be better if they supplied ammo and there was another type of sandbag that could be placed with a 50cal on it. Maybe max these to two per cp. Would encourage defense.

It depends where. Say on jabal you want to go into position on weast beach on the elevated side of it to defend. To the east you can duck below the ridge line, but if hostiles sneak behind you you are caught pretty much with your pants down. Sandbag give you a chance to pull out or retaliate.

Wish people would use them more as spawn covers where enemy can drive over people that spawn. And get easy kills.

Erm isn't it up to the squad leaders where the sandbags go? or is this thread from an earlier version?
