Unless you're hacking (Stop :P ) then unfortunately the only solution I know of is to reinstall BF2 and PR and any other mods, then update PB Manually

First try updating PB manually before you do something as drastic as reinstalling BF2 and PR!!!

One of my TB clanmates had the same problem tonight. He just reconnected and it was fine.

Don't despair, try different things before reinstalling. If all else fails, just play on a different server for a while - but keep trying to come back to Thors Brigade.

Yeah, update PB before you reinstall. That's just a pain. If only Thors is giving you issue then just do as ante says, play somewhere else but keep trying, it should iron itself out eventually.

Sorry for my late reply:

download the PB manual update program by clicking here.

Create a PB folder under My Files(or wherever you want really). Place the downloaded file inside that folder and doubleclick. Accept the End User Agreement thingy. Tell the program where your BF2 is by clicking on Add a Game, choose BF2 and browse for your game path (e.g. "C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2"). Click on OK. You may wanna do the same thing for your PR installation, by adding it as a second game. Choose BF2 again (yes!) as the game, choose your PR folder this time (e.g. "C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\pr"), click on OK again. Click on Check for Updates and let its do its thing. Click on OK if it asks you anything. Done. You should have all PB updates now. I run this program ever two weeks or so, and I haven't had any PB-related problems in ages.

Good luck!

And remember, Thors Brigade loves you, too ;)

Just take a look at the Ante's link...

I don't think it's necessary to have PB installed in PR folder, though.
Of course it's worth a try !
