According to the DEVs, Muttrah v2 wasn't ready for this .7 release, and will be in the next version, as far as i know.

our release plans for v0.7 changed due to so many things being almost done and hanging around, and v0.6 getting rather stale. so we decided to split our previous v0.7 into 2 releases and give you what we have got now, earlier than we had planned and get the rest out to you once it was done.

Maybe not in a 0.8, but the rest of the new things will be deliveried by a patch.

I have no official informantions, it's just a guess !

I'd guess as a patch, due to their being bigger things in the pipeline (US Army) that would require .8 being a fair few months from now.

I miss this Map as well, I have to emit I dropped the game for 0.6 as it was terrible running on my machine I don’t know why 0.5 worked a treat, 0.7 looks and runs fine so I’m back and waiting. Been playing normal BF2 and you forget how scary this version can be, put it this way last night I was holding a flag and everyone else in my squad got killed, I Think there was six guys gunning for me and I was pinned down behind a wall shitting myself and at the same time loving every minute of it…..

I just don’t like the kill points delay thing and I don’t trust it.

no and no. Muttrah is the capital of Oman and would have no chance to be over run by an Insurgency group and going off the vbf2 storyline of the MEC in Oman is only keeps it going. as for xtract, hardly a popular mode.

I didnt know about it being the capital and stuff. I didnt think about the storyline... I'm just thinking the layout of the map would be great for those 2 modes.

...but as for Extraction being a popular mode, well, it's been sort of neglected.
Not raggin on you guys in any way. I know theres alot of other things to take care of in PR...
