Supply System: How do you/would you like it?
Well ever since the tought of actually removing the ammo bag i have been wondering, what can balance this out? So i made up a couple different new ways to do so.
1. Give Transport Choppers/Trucks more then one ammo crate
2. Make the Trucks/Heavy Jeeps portable ammo stations
3. Your own reason?
What do you guys think, if the ammo bag was removed in .8, what would you like to have done to the supply system? Maybe if the ammo bag stayed, would you want any changes?

If ammo bag is removed, give trucks two boxes and choppers one. Also, give them parachutes. It's hard to resupply by air in Kashan.

I like the present system. If you use single shot, probably you will die before your ammo runs out, and if you still make it to survive then pickup your enemies weapon and keep on fighting.
If you'll be lucky enough then you'll be able to find enemies kit with ammo bag, throw it on the ground, resupply and keep on fighting...
The only situation when I run out of ammo is when I use suppresion fire, but even then I try to save my ammo.

Yeah, removing the ammo bag will remove the "universal ammo type" being carried by all troops.
EDIT: In VBF2, enemy support guys in their vehicles would not rearm you. Perhaps it is time to apply this logic to enemy ammo caches, bunkers, fire bases, etc?

Exactly Bjoffe! For new bulllets we need the support gunner with his ammo bag. For new mines, rockets, smoke, slams, c4 and nades you need to move back to your own territory. (bunker, fb, supplies or main)
As if an support gunner can carry al that stuff in one little bag. I guess this is hardcoded though, is it not?

Bringing ammo in the HMMWV sounds good to me.
Example:

There should be heavy and light ammo loadouts given.
Light = small arms clips, frag and smoke grenades, grenadier nades, and the medic AED recharge. dunno bandaids ,too?
HEAVY = Mines,C-4, Slams, AT and AA rockets,
The heavy should be at where vehicles rearm plus those crates.
Something like that.
dunno if its hardcoded kinda problem .either.

More ammo stations, less magazines.

What I don't understand is why the ammo system was removed in the first place.
What was so unrealistic about grabbing a magazine or two from the boxes you can see (at least in the HMMWV) in the back of your car? And what about rallies? What are those bags full of? Cotton balls? It certainly can't be ammunition for the squad, no way. That would be, like, unrealistic, right?
