These aren't very constructive suggestions. Anything to do with timing/ammo etc. will have been tested extensively across 4-5 full releases, one line in a big suggestion spam is hardly going to trump that. A quick search would tell you a fair few of these, especially to do with iron sights, are hardcoded, and
- Lower stanima

- Longer time on laser beacon when targeted. 15 seconds to short.
Agreed. 30 seconds would be good.
- Slower weapon draw on all weapons. (Slow down draw ani.)
Agreed, but lack of animator
- Increased spawn (2 minutes + default) on pilots who crash their plane/helicopter (This would make pilots use their parachutes)

- When zoomed in on scopes, your eye shouldn't be right up on it, please make it so when you zoom through your sights, you can see the outside world but a bit blurry.
Disagree, not useful enough imo
- Blurred area outside of iron-sights.
Disagree. IRL its not that difficult to focus on an area outside the sights. The human playing the game does what the eye of the soldier would do, realistic enough imo
- When sprinting blur the edges to make self-awarness down.

- Slower time to draw iron-sights up (I know there has been a big debate on how fast you can pull them up, but can you keep them steady? Lets just say its slower to pull your sights because you hold the gun 100% steady when still.
Disagree. You can only walk slow with sights, and only fast without. A delay would make finding the right speed even more difficult, it would be annoying.
- Proper sights for L-AT. On the agenda of L-AT, get rid of the stupid 3x zoom on the RPG.

- Proper sights for AA-Rifleman.

- Optics rifle for AA-Rifleman (could of sworn they were getting in 0.7)

- Longer time to go from stand-prone.
Agreed, but probably hard coded
- Max deviation as soon as you hit the floor after going prone.
Agreed, but maybe a problem with the coding, or it would be in already
- Crouch toggle? If possible.
Agreed, but i thik its not possible.
- Longer delay after throwing a frag grenade.

- Slower H-AT missiles to give proper time for guiding.
Is being fixed for the patch. Not slower, but better guideable.
- Get rid of flashbangs for officer.
Also going to happen in the patch afaik
- Get rid of over-heat for all weapons (xcept the mounted .50, Kord, eg.)
Disagree. It may be a bit unrealistic, but overheating should be simulated in one way or another
- Proper reloading animations for all weapons (no cocking handle when chamber has bullet, eg.)

- No jumping when stanima is empty, only after it reached 1/3 full can you jump again.
Totaly agreed, but hardcoded. Also getting into tanks would become difficult.

- Tinted windows on ALL planes and helicopters. (Looks like there is no glass when looking inside the cockpit.)

Agreed. Also civilian vehicles and some others shouldnt have GPS

Doesnt really matter that much imo
- Guns with bipods when zoomed in are harder to move around (just like the Auto-Rifleman).

- Get rid of Ammobags (unless they can only supply magazines and grenades). Supply boxes, Firebases and bunkers need better things to do than a spawn-and-request place.
tend to agree, but rally points and/or APCs should then give ammo again, or something.
- Slides on pistols and SKS go back when ammo is empty.

Not sure about this one. The VOIP is in english anyway. Would be a bit TOO realistic i think.

I like this idea and I agree with it, I just dont know if it can be done

Plenty of threads on that, best alternative thus far is to crouch, open and close xfire :wink:

I say no, but feel free to give references on combat soldiers fitness capabilities

Nice idea on teh map

Like this idea very much, just finishing reading 'barefoot soldier' by johnson beharry- a warrior IFV driver who got the VC in iraq.

It wouldn't be bad to keep this, passengers can get a map out?

why? doesnt render at thier engagement range anyway.

Some good points in there, but I suggest separate threads next time, and a little more searching too. Words hurt my eyes so don't write so many in one post :wink:

umm.... no IRL you would understand your fellow troops. (i have mine off anyway but somepeople might want it on)


most of you ideas are sound however i belive many have been suggested before or are Hardcoded e.g
Get rid of Ammobags (unless they can only supply magazines and grenades).
Ammo is Ammo you cant slect one type Hardcoded.

Dislike:
>lower stamina, if you don't have a ride it would take FOREVER to get to the frontlines without that nice big stamina bar)
>No ammo bags (think about frontline grenaders, rpgers, mg gunners, and Spec Ops, all these guys have a weapon that rapidly depletes ammo-wise I'd hate to have to walk all the back to a firebase to get ammo)

The rest seem like things that really aren't too key to gameplay, but would make nice additions in later versions.

About the Ammo, you can. E.G. H-AT can't be reloaded with an Ammo bag.

making the laser target from the soflam last 30 sec would be the worst thing possible, first off it can stick to the anything it hits, so if you shoot a tank it would be lazed for 30 sec even if you were not looking at it, this makes the soflam a fire and forget weapon and as far as i know it is not even close to that in real life.

- Slides on pistols and SKS go back when ammo is empty.

This would mean that WITHOUT a copilot, the pilot would be screwed royally. No dice.

For the APCs that lack vision blocks, yes. But most of the ones depicted in PR do not.

I've been playing PR for a good while, and I don't have ANY of these phrases memorized. Now, I don't use english voice only, but if someone wants to, why not let them? That way when his chinese SM says something to him, he knows the difference between "yes" and "holy **** it's a flying cow!". Also, 99% sure this is hardcoded.

What's wrong with the current LAT sights? I agree about the zoom though.

I agree, some more reason to keep your head down would be nice, but this is not in any way a constructive comment. I would say some more visual effects on targeted players would be good, although I know that this will make most players very unhappy. I know I already get pissed when I can't see the fool who is shooting a few rounds my way because my screen is all blurry.
