Insurgent Vehicles

Please... god..... remove the jihad cars or make a limit to how many there are on one round.

It gets annoying seeing a big huge truck with a floating bomb on the back..

If you keep jihad cars, at least take out the truck.. Please ;)

Well your suggestion might get better reception if you had better arguments for taking out the jihad truck/cars than simply that it is annoying.

I'm not sure about removing them but I think they could decrease the speed of the bomb truck because at the moment it seems faster on bumpy rough terrain than the challenger and in reality the challenger wouldve blown it up to bits long before the truck wouldve gotten even close. IRL the dust put up in the air by the truck would be much more noticeable but granted with enough high mounds and fog the challenger 2 would remain oblivious to the oncoming danger.

I suppose we have to think of the 500m limited visibility as heavy fog which would give the suicide cars/trucks a much better chance at surprising British and US vehicles justifying the suicide vehicles' excistence to some degree since in those conditions they would be useful weapons against the coalition in reality as well. A clear sunny day would pretty much limit the usefulness of the suicide vehicles to urban environments.

I want them removed because its unrealistic to have 50 vbied's go off in a battle......

Does words "balance" or "gameplay" means something for you?

Play as an insurgent more often. Every time you will be killed by APC or tank you will pray to Allah for one of those toys spawned somewhere around.

AFAIK respawn time for those vehicles is set on 15 or 20 minutes and some of them even don't respawn again, there is no windshield so you can kill the driver easily.... so what's the big deal?

Actually i had like to see better reinforced suicide vehicles, it should NOT be easy killing them. Also an improvment would be if the suicide vehicle is shotup by coalition forces it should blow up exactly the same way when its detonated.

I always play insurgent when I get the chance...

It's this balancing in gaming that isn't realistic

Plus a butt load of rpgs and ieds sound more realistic

Why should it not be easy to kill them? They are NOT tanks. Besides the suicide truck can take one AP round from the tank without getting destroyed. The APC's and scimitars are easy enough to destroy with RPG's. The suicide vehicles should use surprise to their advantage since visibility is already limited so it is hard to see them approaching. There's plenty of corners to surprise brits on al basrah.

Blowing up on being destroyed and wiping out any brits/insurgents nearby might be nice but I dont know how realistic that is.

Actually I've found that cars and trucks and actually, any vehicle where the crew is still exposed to fire, makes those crewmen/drivers exceptionally strong. For example, 80% of the time, when trying to kill a suicide car, the only way to stop it is by pumping enough damage into the vehicle that it explodes, when in reality it should be much, much easier to kill the driver and much, much harder to blow the car up. I've seen .50 cals and lighter machineguns tear through shitty car doors and windows and frames a hell of a lot easier than they do in PR.
