Many thought it was impossible we proved you wrong enjoy!!
*cough*
Excuse me? Attitude? I dont think posting this in your OP as if the entire PR team is full of freakin idiots is gonna help keep out the DEVs attitudes.

You didnt prove anyone wrong, you didnt think of something awesome, you didnt do the impossible.

Its fine you posted this, its always kinda cool to see(stress kinda), but coming in and saying in red text all over your OP that you proved everyone wrong is not exactly asking to be treated too kindly when you are showed up.

Dont take this personally, honestly. I really dont mind you posted this or that you were mistaken, but the manner of the opening post didnt lend itself to being taken lightly.

Yeah the Good ol times. When all you needed was an Insurgents kit, A good Pilot, And 4 squad members willing to help. My god i miss all the raids i used to do back then with my squad. Damn 1_man_wrecking_crew had to have been the best sl i have ever played with.

I think the idea of fastroping is to drop ur troops in an area not suitable for landing. e.g. a street or really rugged rocky terrain.

Smeg: Fuzz commands a lot and promotes good teamwork, db flips vehicles, Bosco is an all-round nub, Outlawz is an SP whore, Nickbond is a friggin ninja and Rhino gets kicked for being a n00b.

Because there is no way to do fastropes like they work in real life.

Because this[the idea in general, not this specific attempt] is a terrible attempt at replicating it. Its been known but do you honestly think this is a viable alternative? Think of the teamkills, falls, people simply getting shot out, pissed off that the pilot didnt just land, etc.

Its not unwarranted hostility towards the OP, we're all merely saying this has been done countless times before. Especially sine the post claimed to prove the DEV team wrong, I can see how some people were offed by this.

Yea well I guess you could consider it fastroping... It's just not very fast or reliable way to get out of a chopper :p

The pic below is from a test session years ago. I think it was originally taken by Rhino or desertfox.
Rhino had already posted it somewhere long before my post:

how about you close this topic? since it doesnt fill any purpose.

Also landing in a combatzone isn't a viable way to replicate helitransport in real life either now is it?
