Sniper flare suggestions

Did a search and did not see this discussed...

How about making the sniper flare emit a screeching noise when triggered and while burning. This would add that audio alert factor to protect an area from covert attack.

If these dont exist on the battlefield, then disregard this post.
Realism and fun aren't mutually exclusive.
