HOLY FREAKING **** BATMAN! That was in freaking credible, all that was missing was the shock wave bending the trees over. I love the condensation ring at the cloud level, and the donut roll on the mushroom cloud. Damn, that was scarey realistic! I want his mod just for fun. Did you see the death toll racking up in the top right corner? Hehehe.

How does this thread still exist? This was a very silly idea that doesn't fit in with BF2 or PR. The maps are nowhere near big enough.

Those were stunning videos, that's amazing BF2 work. Really incredible.

Yea, the nukes in PR wouldn't work out all that well because in reality nukes I don't think would be used, unless the war was a lot larger in scale.

As for the Radioactive effects, I did not apply any because I feel it destroyed its purpose. The nuke is there to destroy everything "with a nice look" so that your squad can move in and capture. If the nuke had radioactive effects afterwards your squad would have to wait, giving the enemy time to recover and then you're back to square 1. lol

sacr3, you rock, glad to see you're here in the PRM forums. Do you play?

I think the radition effects are not really valid for the scope of the game either, radition sickness takes time to set in. While you would not want to walk into a nuke crater, within the scope of the game you would not be affected until after a typical 2-3 hour match. A small airburst would not create a tremendous amount of fallout.

Besides, rather than call it a nuke, it could be a MOAB (or the russian FOAB) and radiation is not an issue, but you still get the massive explosion.

You won't be saying it was a bad idea when the zombies dead walk the earth. Its only a matter of time. They're coming... We must prepare...
The key to modernising any weapon is covering them in glue and tossing them in a barrel of M1913 rails until they look "Modern" enough.
