I would like to see the eng spot or the 50 cal gunner be able to switch to binocs without having to jump out of the tank like add another spot on 50 cal gunner or be able to switch to binocs i think this would be invalualbe.

I'm all for SL calling for "Heavy Ground Support" instead of air support after lazing a target. So the gunner and the commander/driver of armor can see this laser target. Then the com could also laz the target giving the gunner that compass direction on the bottom to where the target is.

Obviously you would spot the target out first. Infantry, Armor or whatever. Then laser the target. Then call in Heavy Ground Support. Commander could even approve the request like CAS if needed.

Now imagine if the APCs had this option as well. This could revolutionize Armor/APC support in PR. Wonderful idea!

I also very much support Lung's request that the 3rd MG position on a tank be allowed to use binoculars to help spot targets without having to get out of the tank. Something like a "2 key press" secondary option. Then you press "1" and go back to MG with the usually time delay before using it.

Love this idea, I've been hopping into armour recently, and many times as a driver I've had my gunner not see certain targets, even after giving a bearing on their compass. A more visual guide would be helpful.

At the current moment, SLs often place a marker on enemy targets, and it beats a compass bearing that's different for every soldier's position.

Since getting PR, I've gotten hooked on tanking, the whole driver/gunner dynamic really makes me feel like part of a tank crew. It would be really awsome as the driver to be able to mark targets more clearly for the gunner. Marking it's distance and bearing is good, but painting the target for the gunner would just be so perfect, I really hope this is added.

I also love the idea of the machine gunner being able to use binocs. Earlier we were playing..... ****, it was a brit vs chinese map, really open forested hills with a lake in the middle. Forgot it's name. Well anyways I was a machine gunner and the driver n gunner are all looking around for enemy tanks, and I'm just sitting there doing nothing. It'd have been handy if I coulda just wiped out the binocs n help them look.

This wouldn't simulate any piece of technology, rather, it would simulate the ability of a tank crew to communicate with each other and nearby using both visual and electronic means.

I fly around regularly bombing targets that my VoIP SL is calling out and placing attack markers ontop of; but for other squads, all I hear is "Lasing target now!" - I don't know where that person is on the ground, where the target is, and thus don't know where to approach from, and again, where the target is.

If this system was to be implimented as the Dev, (Jaymz was it?), has suggested, then for both armour and air, it may be an idea to add an icon onto the HUD of where exactly this lazed/marked target(s) is/are.

Driver/gunner communication
Instead of "Missile fire" in the commo rose, there should be a "head this direction"
And to the usual compass should be added: a "yellow ^ arrow marker" that point to the direction/degrees where the driver/gunner whats respectively the gunner/driver attention.

Hope someone understood what i would say :)

edit: Quite same as said before, but only one compass
