Removing Exploits...
now i know, no matter what we do and i also know most of us are guilty of these, but there are some big exploits that im not sure what can be done to switch them.
1. Nade spamming - Today playing Oasis I encounted a 2 minute long nade spamming session, I think if there is a way, make it so support bags dont refill grenades.
2. The Amazing Mobile Spawn Point - Switching between squads, and switching squad leaders so people can spawn wherever. I'm not sure how to fix this, but maybe make it so there is a 2 minute delay between switching squads or squad leaders?
3. uh well thats all i got right now. haha. i thought the list would be longer, add to it.

This has a simpal solution. Dont allow ppl to leave the sqaud, when they are dead. Im not sure how you would code this but this should fix most of the probs.Riki_Rude_BTYC wrote:2. GOD NO!, you obvoicly aint seen smoke spamming then.... the best way to piss somone off it to get a support near you, then get him to keep on supplieing you when you are chucking the smoke nades at a team mate. there pc cant take 20 somke nades all going off constanly with extra dence smoke and it lags like SHIT!Figisaacnewton wrote:solution to support nade spaming, give them smoke nades not frag nades.
And if you are going to take away frag nades from the support. All the guys have to do to nade spam is work as a team. Foir exsample somtimes i use my noob tube as a morta. I get a support (normaly evilpile a guy in my clan) to sit next to me and keep giving me ammo while i rain down mortaers on the enemys heads. I somtimes have a sniper to correct my fireing saying abit left or abit up ect.
What we need is anouther solution like no instant ammo. or you can only reload your ammo when pressing and holding "E" on a ammo bag, and not just walk upto it.

At the moment u just have a support chucking himself down ammo bags and lobbing them conatnly. 1, take away the support nades but then he can still let other ppl nade spam. or 2 make it so ammo takes along time to reload from bags or u have to push and hold "e" for abit of time when you are over them. Thous are my best ideas i can think of.

I played another mod where the support guy had his 249, a knife and his ammo bag. And, well it was perfect, thats all a support guy needs
A hell of a lot of ammo a big @ss gun to soot it and the ability to rearm his fellow troops.

i also agree with rhino, make it so the resupply has to do the samething medics do.

I don't really see why support need grenades, either. For a start, their weapon is so much more powerful than any other...
Things can be done about the squad switching using python - for example you can limit people to two or three switches per round, or make them only able to switch once every 5 minutes, or whatever.

No o dont think the asssult should have the ammo bag, it would just make the GL a morta. It allready is for me 1/2 the time and thats cos i get a support next to me and then i start using it as a morta.DEDMON5811 wrote:Like I have said before. i think getting rid of ammo bags would be alright, but youd have to double the amount of clips people carry by 50%. And I'd like it if supply crates didnt resupply nades (only smoke ones).
My idea stands as the fastest solution, keep everything the way it is, and just make it so the ammo bag takes longer to recharge, as it is now, I think it recharges MUCH MUCH faster then it should. You can toss out 3 ammo bags when you first spawn? I dont think so. I think you should be able to toss out one and have to wait a decent amount of time. This changes alot of things, you won't see ammo bags littering the feild in random spots, and you wont have people begging for ammo after they use one clip.

Retardeding: there's no sense in suffering other aspects of the game just o get rid of nades
Retardeding: I say one ammo bag gives you back one nade
Retardeding: or the only way to get back nades are thru supply crates
Retardeding: that could solve your problem right there

Retardeding: I'd much rather just start out with two grenades each spawn and not be able to get anymore than to have the supply paks get deleted
Retardeding: that right there is a definite fix for nade spam
Retardeding: and if they do try and nade spam
Retardeding: you know it's only going to be for a termporary point of time
Retardeding: since they only get 2 nades per spawn
Retardeding: you could also have two seperate ammo paks for the support
Retardeding: one could be just regular bullets
Retardeding: and the other could be explosives
Retardeding: for AT

Retardeding: and the recharge rate on the explosives pack could go like..half or a 3rd the speed of the ammo pack
