Microphone stops working..

Hi All.

I have a creative X-fi Extreme Gamer and my microphone always stops working at an important time in the game.

I understand that this is not a PR bug as such, something to do with the BF2 Engine itself.

However, I was hoping someone could advise as to the fix for this as searching the web has revealed nothing that has worked for me...

I have tried different driver versions and different sound-card settings etc.

I am running Windows XP SP2 and currently the latest drivers from Creative's website.

People do say, ALT+TAB to desktop, open creative console launcher, try to change to entertainment from gaming, then it is fixed.

Not tried it myself, have suffered from the problem a couple of times myself prior to people mentioning this 'fix'
