auto balance only allows for s very small inbalance. not 10 v 40. it would be more like 40 v 45

People have to remember that auto balance does not switch someone until they die... so if no one dies it will not work, thats hardcoded isnt it?

erm people dont die every 20 seconds at all, you can go through whole rounds without dieing once, plus medics revive a lot more now too and if people leave the loseing side that means its going to be even harder for someone on the winning side to die

im not saying 3 rounds which i know you then later meantioned, the OP was about auto balance, which I was explaining, wasnt until after the fact you mentioned about 3 rounds, but we'd already went off on a death in rounds tangent ;)

I very much doubt their was a 30 man difference for the whole 3 rounds...

maybe i dont fully understand...are you experiancing a lot of team switching? It shouldnt be the case. Our autobalance is worked so it works out for everyone, with minimal issues. i mean. i play on our server as much as anyone else if not more than most...and i dont get switched...ever. and im confident its not an admin doing the switching because thats pretty rare tbh. im not interragating you, i am just investigating the issue. :D

I've personally never seen the server were one side was more that 6-7 people out maned by the other team. I have however seen it at times were the teams get stack and a lot of good clan players are all on one side verse a whole bunch of casual players who in turn get there behinds handed to them.

lol yup! :D

if you want to have a good game you need pubbies to be cohiesive. we are fair but we stick together. no point in me saying we are gonna split up clan members. theres only a few of us and we are usually on TS in the same channel having a convo. splitting us up every night would ruin the fun.

Dont quote me (and I will find out for sure today and give you a accurate answer) but our AB is set for a 5 player differance. Its kind of a give and take situation, if its set for a 50/50 split then you almost constantly have squad members even squad leaders getting switched and IMO that sucks I hate playing on servers like that. If its left at 5 it gives some room for people to join and leave etc....but it can present a lop sided team at points even with auto balance on it wont switch until you die. As far as people switching teams that has always been a problem on any server you guys know that, I wished it was there was a simple solution but you have to remember its a public server so it comes with challenges built in  Anyway good fight I had a blast and I was on the loosing side for 3 rounds :-(

Yep, I love having a TCC+DM&CO vs pubbies map. We usually win.

Then I love a TCC+ pubbies vs DM + pubbies. Always a good game that.

IMO the currect autobalance situation is perfect, +or-5.
