Stryker Variants

First post so forgive me if im out of line anywhere.

Just got off playing EJOD 64-man and i must say i was very unimpressed with the strykers ability to combat BTR's. The BTR's would roll right over the strykers as far as firepower. This leaves the hard work of destroying these assets up to the infantry. I think, and call me crazy, but i think one stryker with the Mobile Gun System would be fantastic in combating these guys. If you can't do that, then maybe put a tow launcher on one with 2 tow's? this would force them to return to base for a reload of the tow's and probably give the enemy enough time to respawn in their BTR's again. I just want to be able to transport infantry AND combat enemy apc's.

its asymetrical balance..i think teh stryker works fine on taht map....apcs arent supposed to fight eachother anyway....you should leave it to the infantry anyways

version your talking about above is still in testing by the US Army and is set for release to troops in the near future.

.50 cals on the Stryker can kill a BRDM. Hell, even a humvee can kill a BRDM on EJOD. If the Stryker gets the drop on the BRDM first, it will generally win. It's fine.

It will take out the BRDM.Heavy MG fire damages it.

It takes ~50 bullets from a .50 cal to set fire to a BRDM2, which is about the same amount that you can fire without pause before overheating. At least on close range this is true, dunno how damage scales for the .50 cal.
