For the British who will eventualy become part of this mod, they will not use the same vehical, could they have a Range Rover just like my dad

To the 2nd question: I don't know the ins and outs on speed and stuff, but I would imagine it was done because that is approximately the speed it has IRL.
Besides, it's a pretty damn hard task to keep your convoy together even if the vehicles can travel at the same speed.

I think over at the tourney, we'll just have to adapt to what is thrown at us.
I have to say though, all the changes that were made happen to fit what I would like for my precious tournament. New exiting game modes, that'd fit well for campaign 2, new maps that we can use to keep it varied, and of course all the other goodies. The ARRC will like their new sniper rifle.
(I am positively sure we will be seeing these new game modes in the tourney too.

Will you guys be limiting supply bags to bullets only? So an Assault cannot resupply nades?
Will tanks ever have a gunner/driver combo?
Why don't tanks/helicopters/APCs explode? Right now they just instantly turn into wreck when shot.
Are you planning on tweaking the transport jeeps? From what I've heard they now survive a tank shot.

How will it affect the tournament?
Well, I imagine it will affect us tourney guys quite a lot.
We'll have new maps to mess around on, sorry, make that have a fight on for our next campaign. We will, no doubt, at some point in the near future see battles using Extraction or Objective gameplay modes. And of course some of the new changes might help create a balance between the teams. (Mk12 vs. Dragunov instead of M24 vs. Dragunov) That might not be the best example, since that only goes for certain maps, but you get the picture.

That bullets only thing sounds reasonable to me. (Nades are also heavier and therefore less likely to be carried as extras by the average grunt?) But that hasn't been done for this version AFAIK. Tanks might, at some point, have a gunner/driver combo. Maybe when the community gets large enough to fill the tanks on a server, and have enough guys left for infantry duty. Or maybe never, because it's pretty impractical considering the BF2 limitations (mainly the max nr of people on a server, which would be a bit small to require all tanks to be manned by at least two people. Unlike OFP where you have bots to fill up the voids. But who knows, maybe the Co-Op EA is promising us will turn out well.
Why don't they explode? That'd mean a big new animation.... And the insta-wreck thing is simply the way Dice decided to make the change from living to dead. I think that's another of those engine limitations. But well, seeming limitations were worked around before, so maybe. When we get to making the graphics as realistic as the gameplay (which is currently first priority, together with adding the Brits).
I personally find it hard to beleive jeeps can now survive a tank shot. They were made more resistent I think, but not that much. Can anybody confirm that?
