Not a suggestion, just a question ;)

Is it possible to mix 3d sight with the blur as in forgotten hope 2...

AFAIK, FH2's blur is the same file as the 2d gun...so is it possible to align the gun to use 3d sights, and remove the 2d texture of the gun, but leave the blur, so it still has 2d texture on it,but still in 3d...

Because you can see the model infront of the 2d texture, just not aligned.

I hope i explained good lol :D

if it's possible i'm sure that it would be greatly appreciatet and i believe that the devs would love to have it ingame. but i also believe that they stated that it would not be possible because of the engine being hardcoded, but they may be a loop hole somewhere but it might be as hard to get or harder than ze fastropes. also since i have been decrypting the changelog i have not seen any signs of this being added into the next patch. might be .9-1.0 material though but that's far in the future.

Going by your logic of the way FH2's blur works.. we'll need to setup an invisible plane for all ironsight capable weapons to use, most of which we don't have the capability to do.

If youre wanting the blur JUST on the rear iron sights or something, thats a new suggestion and possibly worth looking into, though Chuc has already said his piece on that and I cannot say anything as to its validity or realism or anything like that. :)

IF, however, you mean to have everything but the center of the sights blurred[like Forgotten Hope 2]... then no. :P I've already locked too many threads on that and its been discussed too many times :\ In real life you have have a rifle up and still look around, in PR you cannot move your soldiers point of view. What you CAN do is move your eyes while the rifle is in ironsight mode. When you focus on the center of your irons in PR, you already get that "blurred" effect where you arent looking.
