Greek Army to PR?

Post by Hartmanngr »

I want to suggest the PR dev team if the greek army will be a good idea for a new community faction to PR?The problem is that i have not the experience for coding or modeling in BF engine. And this is a problem because i cant find any greek people to help me on this.I can be a military advisor because I'm on the army and my father its a general on the greek army and i know all the new equipment that army use.I suggest it because the greek army is a major NATO member and supports many actions of nato and we are first or between the firsts in many thinks. One think more is that in the equipment and vehicle section we are using the same us other NATO members. That means its a easy army to make because its not require many new vehicles.

"Edit" I dont want to spent the time of devs. This call is for everyone.

IF you can make it and its good it will be in. If you mean the devs should make an army that isnt really in any big wars at all for the first. And no devs afaik is from greece for the second. Its not a goal making the greece at all for this mod as the third. IF you want your faction think about how much work it will be most community factions talks about a year before they are done why should the devs stop with their awesome work for just a new factions that isnt really supported in the whole community or any Devs high up really wants to see in the MOD.

As they all say do it yourself.
If you had searched "new faction" you would get your answer to your request.

I found this sentence quite funny and since this is a war game forum I will put it here. No offense to the french just a good laugh.

im not either a modder but are the proud men of Hellas currently active in combat at any of the portrayed scenarios that PR focuses on or would another fraction be needed to be introduced?

The greek army supports the NATO to Afghanistan and to iraq and also to the Balkans (kosovo etc).

The mod team has limited means and can only set out for so many ends. While adding the ultra-elite counter terrorist Vatican Swiss Guards as a new faction would be cool, ultimately it would require an awful lot of time and add little to our mod.
If you would like to make all the models, skin them, code them, and then ask for them to be in game, go ahead.
