Do we have proof it's used by those people? If we don't I'd rather stick with the Type 89 regular.

Note that it's not by me, but a member on the BFSP forums (Noobage) who make awesome heavy vehicles.
He said that he'd make the Type 90 and possibly other models, but wasn't interested into modeling full time for us.

The short Type 89 is an airsoft replica that probably wouldn't work in real life without modification of the short-stroke piston system.

Awesome T-90 WIP. That would definitively make a major score for this faction.

Although I'm wondering, since the Japanese are soon to start producing the Type-10... Do you think the Devs will complain if the faction managed to pull both MBTs and have them used on an alternative basis (Like Map "A" has Type 90s and map "B" has Type 10s)?

It would also be hard to find exact specifications for the Type 10, types of ammunition, exit velocity of the rounds, effective range, etc. So I think it'd be safer to stick to the Type 90 for now at least.

I'm very noobish at modeling tho, how did he manage to put that camo texture? Did he UV map it at the same time? I'd doubt that..

That is a nice model. I have a question 'though... Is it usable or will it be for use in this faction?
I mean.... Will the model respect the poly limit allowed for these vehicle to beimplemented in PR?

Oh and I agree with Hauteclocque. There has been some nice progress recently. Keep up guys and the Devs might give you your own personal subforum for this faction :thumbsup:

Well, for a start the island maps in south-western Japan will be rather easy to make without said statics. If anybody is willing to make a islandey-jungle type of map, this would be a good contribution!

And honestly... how many games feature the JSDF except BF2:CQB?

But little nitpickey me.. Why does some class not have binoculars when they should? ôÔ

About the Toyota HMV being selected over the Type 73.. Is there any ref pic of an armored, camoed, armed Toyota HMV? And all those lines and selections are rather confusing ... can you clarify wich one is going to be the main ISV and wich one will be the secondary repair ISV?
