Enhancing your PR experience

Post by xxFrankRizzoxx »

Just curious if anyone else out there goes to the extreme when it comes to making your PR experience more realistic. Please post your ideas here so myself and others can try them out. Hope theres not another thread out there about this.

Here is my home made pilots chair..I use an X-52 Joystick/throttle set and built some wooden mounts on my office chair to secure the controllers to. All in all, piloting is a whole new experience with this set up and alot more comfortable after that long match. Im eventually going to put some padding around the wood and maybe some fabric to make it look cool and keep from stabbing myself in the leg with corner of a 2x4 lol. For now..duct tape and a handkerchief serves me just fine.

look forward to seeing any other ideas people have out there to enhance the experience.

That's kick ***. Is it easier to use a joystick to fly? I've always had a lot of trouble using the keyboard =P

OTT? I would describe it as OTH (off the hook) lol...For me I like to fly planes with the joystick...helos with a mouse and throttle control. I guess its just however you are more comfortable or used to.

BTW, I had the same desk in Manhattan. It is from IKEA. I quite liked it. I spent a lot of hours playing vBF2 at a desk just like that. Karkand (no vehicles) on an infinite loop.

My brother is in the US Army. Once time when he was on leave and visiting home he was showing a friend visiting his BDU helmet. He kept it on and even when the friend left he forgot he had it on. haha eventually he popped in Call of Duty 4 and started playing when I walked in and saw him playing COD4 in his helmet......priceless

O yea a good stick makes flying 10x more enjoyable for me! And I have and old type writer desk for my comp so I took out the center and top left drawer and placed some plywood in there and Boom stick mounts for my beloved X52 pro
