Just lightmap the primary terrain at low detail. - it shouldnt take more than an hour even on a detailed map. (It will probably take less than 10mins)
To pack the map, search the forum - Rhino has a .bat file that packs the map for you.

Well I did a light map but still it made no difference, Clicks
You can also see that supply boxes don't work and that there is invisible barrels (but other clan members can see them...)
Also at the airfield you can see that the tress go funny when you look at them from a distance, and when you are up on the mountain and look by your Binocs it goes black with grey trees
Got any other ideas?

the supply crate thing, i think you used the "ustrk_m35" trucks but you have to use "us_trk_support" and "us_trk_logistics".
for the trees: since they look like vbf2 trees maybe there have a problem with the viewdistance, maybe try to lower it a bit?
black terrian: for me it still looks like a "package-fault" , but maybe you forgot to put the code for scale 4 maps in your terrian.con (which you can find in the link marolenk already posted)

The line of code is in there, and I got a clan member that runs xp to package it, so I am stumped.
Thanks for the tip about the M35 & and trees, I'll go see if they work if I change them
Also I will try light mapping the terrain again...

I was just thinking about how the black only comes up if you are up close, could this have any relation to view distance?

Yes, I have, it comes up fine at a distance for example flying but when you are up close then it goes black.

I had the same problem when I started mapping - I cant remember what caused it though

You didnt Paint it right. or something went wrong while painting. Or they will be fine after generating lightmaps. Do they show up on the minimap in the (EDITOR)? It happened to me a couple times. You have to repaint. I assume you used t-paint?

No I didn't use T-Paint and I never should of let another clan member paint the map, I got it to work but I can't remember what I did. Can I use T-Paint to paint different parts of the map different colours? and put rocky stuff on the top of mountains?

Ok new problem I can't see any weapons I request... I see him doing all the animations but there is no weapon..
and do you have any clues on how to get rid of the Lime green out of bounds area? (where the map carrys on but you ain't allowed to go there)
