Voice Activated Commands
Through an external program, Shoot, we can emulate keystrokes.
There, that's about three-fourths (3/4 for the mathmatically challenged)
the battle. All that's left is finding proper console commands
and fine-tuning the profile.
Now, we run into a small problem:
Does anyone know any console commands for the squad orders?

Now, I only have one point to make on this:
- Immersion
Yes, that's right. Immersion. In bold, beatiful letters.
With the help of Shoot, all you really need to do to place
a marker within view distance is point your weapon and
say it. Now, how cool would that be?
And then there are some of you who say,
"But Doc, isn't it somewhat easier to just hit "T" and
select one of those commands on the rose?"
The answer is: Yes.
It is easier, but I think some of you would rather have the
immersion of the entire experience than have some 2D
selection menu pop up in your face giving you a list of
options.
Comments are the lifeblood of any thread.

Alright, I have a profile in the works.
It looks like the squad commands will be a no-go until I can
find the correct console commands, unless it's possible to
select things on the commo rose using the keyboard.
So far, I have these controls done.
Controls So Far:
Vote Yes
Vote No
Spawn Screen
Squad Screen
Flares/Pop Smoke
Cycle Weapons
Map
Reload
If you want to see other controls added, just post here.
*Note*: They have to be on the keyboard.

Good work, keep on trying with the commands.
Oh, you can also set "Roger" and "Negative", as they are key-mapped under "page up" and "page down" when there isnt a vote active.

I'm going to go ahead and release what I have so far,
albeit it's not much. I'm stuck at a "speaker's block" (Ho ho ho! A pun!)
until I or someone else can find anything else
that could possibly be added.
Version 1.0:
Rapidshare Link
Other Things Required:
Shoot
Microsoft v1.1 NET Framework

between this and an idea i had.... oh man... BF2 would be like a whole new game...
since BF2 does all the good stuff at the server side and the problems are mostly making a way for someone to use *cool feature* from the client end, without having access to the server console. I figured that a Direct X proxy and hooks, could do something like Xfire with its chat window popups inside games, but with new GUI stuff to control server side features and whatever. SO many mods would probably love something like this lol. Between this, and the whole Voice recognition to activate the cool extra features... oh man... "teh awesomeness!!!" lol
