Change Voices to be English with accents

Post by DeltaFart »

OK this isn't supposed to be a racist suggestion in the slightest, but I feel having to find a person who can speak a certain language is too specific. Like here's an example:
Chinese squad on barracuda: "Ching Chowa"
Now I don't have an effin clue what that means and without the subtitles like nilla you don't exactly get any hints.
Pros:
You can say something and it'll be understood
Cons:
WHen your walkign around and you and enemy don't know that your there, say SL issues order, the enemy knows your there

already in the game- English VO only- you silly fool. Also Its not that hard to learn what the different commands are. just pay attention when you call for something.

Chin Chowa Kowanee? (Spelt as it sounds) I think that's right isn't it? I think that one's follow me...
Quaishoshindo! MOVE/GO/YAY!
(russian) Vataku!! - attack...

Depends on how much attention you pay to what goes on with what you learn, I'm no PR linguist but I can get the idea of what's being said, you kinda get used to what you hear at certain times and what to do in accordance with that

I quite like it as is cos it makes it more immersive in that I don't speak a word of the languages but somehow know what's being said

Plus I think they removed the "english VO only" button for this reason anyway

Change the voiceovers in your options to English Only. Of course, you lose the ability to figure out if baddies are coming from the shouts, but if you want to hadicap yourself, I ain't gonna stop you.

If you cant understand it, Just do what the other people do.
- Run
- Hide
- Suppress

or something. Otherwise, the SL should have VoIP.
