YES!

By making people revivable even after a headshot, the devs have almost made the sniper useless.

The sniper's function is to recon and take out valuable targets.

Back in the day Headshotting an enemy squad's officer was worth something. Now, it's useless.

Nothing is more frustrating than to pull off a perfect shot at 600m only to have the guy revived.

YES YES and YES ! I don't see how headshot = instant death is not realisitic. Seriously guys, this game has turned into Project: Revive !

Even a smaller fix would change the game, affecting it in a very meaningful way: Promoting teamwork, less rambo-actions ...

I don't see any possibility in a realistic way for the epipen to be able to instantly restructure a partly destroyed head leading to the ability for the soldier to come back on the battlefield.

But if you're hit by a knife in the foot, no way to revive the soldier !

Anyway, this mod remains great.

tbh with all the medic whoring and revive spam that is going on, I started to think twice before playing insurgents. I kill a guy and a minute later a medic revives the body after running across the whole map TO GET THAT ONE GUY.
So really head shots should kill, and in IRL there is little a medic can do to treat a gunshot wound to the head....

I do not see anything funny. BF2 engine has not an advanced differentiated damage system. The knife is very deadly weapon. A knife in the foot? What about femoral artery? You have no chance to survive in the real battlefield under circumstances when the enemy decided to kill you with a knife.

IRL a soldier will heavily hurt an ennemy with the knife, but it can also be not fatal, especially in a hurry, and if a medic come quickly take care of him. That's not a big deal in my opinion, but if a headshot can be mortal, it should be this way.
