Now,
The question that we all need to ask before we squeeze the trigger is friend or foe. For long range and if I had time I would deploy the Binoculars and give the subject a looking over. It seems that sometimes when I look at the subject I sometimes do not get a friendly tag even though it is a frendly. Takes a short time to ID or not at all. How long does it take to ID if we wait? This seems to be prevailent on Armour. Wondered if anyone is getting this.
In the heat of battle of course its difficult to accertain a friend or foe especially if you have support squads in the area so VOIP is handy to keep chattin for location + the map helps for a quick check. Sometimes if foe is really close and we meet up we stand for a moment then with a mad flurry after noticing no frendly tag choose the wrong weapon (the shovel usually) while he fumbles to reload results in a quick run away or worse embarrasment.
I guess the usual situation is that foe will be coming towads you and friendly will be moving away from you so thats another give away unless some sneaky devil has flanked and approaches with the knife.
Your thoughts on tactics for frend or foe ID would be handy,
Ta,
