biggest problem, because its weird, when i'm sitting in room on 4th floor and guy sitting in another building 50 meters away can hear me through this distance and 4( or more) concrete wallsWhen you go up close to the enemy, you should have to worry about them hearing you.
whats the problem here? just tell him what you want through push-to-talk, no need in other channel or forcing centerWhat happens when you get a chopper pilot who isn't an SL?
totally not practical IMOJonny wrote: Then use them in game. Tell the squad that when you nod your head they are to get ready to attack, and to attack when you stand up or fire. Then start nodding when you are about to attack, make sure most have seen, and stand up or fire.
Looking at someone while sighted in means 'oi, you'
Nodding means 'go that way'
Crouching means 'crouch & stop moving'
Proning means 'take cover'
Ehrm... Tartan, i have been in channels on TS with atleast 64 players... its not that big of a deal. even on public games, people can at max hear 2 guys talk at the same time, there is no way there will be a huge cluster ****, i belive a single person who has a plan, tells everyone what to do, and what he will do, thats what usually happends when i play.Tartantyco wrote:-Ok jonny, how do you suppose squads organize themselves before the game starts? Should 64 players talk at once on Mumble? Maybe epic chat use? But no, soldiers don't have text rolling by in the top left of their field of view so that has to go as well. Think things through before you jump in.
me ? i have excellent situational awareness... the average PR player ? , well....Jonny wrote: How little situational awareness do you have to have for that to become impracticle?
QFT , this shouldn't be hidden like the developments for future PR versions (.9 ect) but done with the community.=Romagnolo= wrote:I'd like to know more about the PR mumble progress if possible![]()
