Yes, tickets were decreased on original server. The crash of it made it default unfortunately. :(

Well, this way there were a couple of people going like "not sure if serious" after being told that's 1-life event. :D
I must say the mortars were truly powerful. US did nothing to get rid of us though. 8-)
I did a bit of commanding as well - mostly to spot&warn friendlies about enemy positions as they were already doing a great job - there was hardly no need for any orders.
Good job everyone. I hope I see more of such events, hopefully with even more cannon fodd... uhm... players. ;)

1 for each wounded
each asset will die once
plus a bit for flag capping.

100/150 should be enough?

Yeah Ploddit it's more. People revive and stuff. And assets were wasted more than once just by other players.

I think I'll be there for the next one of those. Haven't played PR in a while, but I wouldn't have expected you'd LACK players for this.

yep, that was me. Had fun up to that moment. Too bad we confused the wounded times. Thought it was ten minutes when it was actualy 5 because of the default server. Medical attention came to late.
I liked cybers leading but the whole team wasnt working together as a unit. We were scatered all over north city :D My heart beat went up to 150 everytime we crossed a street or when we heard the whistling of the mortars coming down.

Beirut wasnt as fun, if the idf wouldnt have the tank the russians would have stood a chance at crossing the bridge and ending the stalemate which turned into a turkey shoot.

This event should be repeated. It was very fun.

Ah Hey man! Yea shame they couldn't use the pre-set rules. Than we would have had you with us for the rest of the round. At least I know your name now so I can write about it better :)

thx for the compliment. I led more hard-core than usual as I wanted to make sure everyone was paying attention to each others safety :D And yea I agree, while we had a CO the inter-squad coordination didn't seem that well. We could have used Squad 2 on the moment we went down. Had to call in CAS to fix it. It was a russian squad so maybe the CO couldn't communicate that well with them ;)

I think i said at some point "im going to kill somebody myself, if you wont do as i say." See, in this event, it worked. :D

Correct. I was speaking English to them for an hour or so until I realized they were Russian. (Not just 1 squad there was 2 russian squads.) I finally communicated with them appropriately(via Russian) By that time though we were steamrolled back to docks by the MEC. I admit as CO I wasn't prepared for this. The biggest issue for me was the changing squad leaders and the fact that I wasn't in the appropriate mumble channel (I thought Team 1 was US). Next time I will be more prepared.

EDIT : Kain are you going to set another event up like this again? If so, when? I suggest that it should be on a Saturday.

We plan to do it on fixed period, so yeah you can expect that PRTA will launch events like this in future. But I would give a lot to solve the reserved slot bug we have when running passworded servers and I would make it priority, but we tried many times. :(
