If it was 15 to 20 seconds you could bunny hop that whole time without a penalty. That would definitely increase bunny hopping. If it was only 5 seconds the stamina would drop sooner.

After you jump ONCE...
You can't jump until 15-20 seconds after you jump...

Good luck getting up even the slightest hill without the ability to jump, and roping will be real tricky if this is ever implemented.

He's not saying you can't jump after 5 seconds, he's just saying you'll get penalized if you do. The first jump should do no stamina loss.

Yeah but my idea doesn't entail limitations on your jumping ability at all, so your point is kinda moot. (not trying to be rude)

Personally I don't think they should get rid of it at all. Maybe make it so you can jump one extra time or something, but only barely. Not having people hopping around a map like fools is one of the things that makes PR so unique and awesome. Have you ever seen videos of people doing it in BF2? They really helped shape this mod into a great one just by fixing that. Nobody want's to get knifed by a sprinting jumping fool that runs at you from 100 meters while you unload rounds and miss him because his bunny ears are an invisible shield.

anywho i like titsmcgee's idea. seems like a good way, if it's possible, to help us get over minor obstacles like the sidewalk while continuing to mitigate bunny hopping.

People are still going to bunny hop no matter if you remove the penalty or keep it as it is. You literally can't stop it unless you just remove jumping completely.

The real problem is if it will cause a BF bunny hopping...(being able to evade bullets basically)

Why's everyone saying people are gonna bunnyhop? Christ, anyone who doesn't have sprint left anymore is already doing it. Or even better, people who still have sprint sometimes rather jump to cover. Sure, jumping is a good way to evade bullets but it already renders you defenseless for a second or two after doing it so any sensible person doesn't do it if there's a chance you have enemies close. Those people who still decide to do it wont be thinking about the stamina penalty when they're bunnyhopping. They eventually die to not being able to fire anyway if they jump so much.

tl;dr people who bunnyhop dont give a rats *** about stamina penalty, they just do it anyway
