It is not a 100% match but pretty close to that IMO so I think I am okay with the way the 3p model looks now. Though I will probably find some things to edit later on. I will start focusing on the interior model now.

The 'ladder' stepup under the cabin looks too thin compared to the R/L one? Just the only thing I spotted

The step-up indeed looks a bit to thin, will change it next time I am working on this model. Also, I made the cabin roof a little higher because it was to flat IMO.

No progress has been made during the past few weeks due to real life stuff, Engineering study is taking a lot of time at the moment. But I think I will have some time to finish this models 1P and 3P LOD_0 within 4 weeks from now.

So today I wanted to work on this model, but my PC gave me this Bullshit:





And YES, I did set everything up when I started working on this. To prove the fact that I did I also tried to load some actuall ingame PR Models that I have on my PC and I got the same warning. So I think there is something wrong with my 3ds Max 9.

Have you got any backups? Be sure to get some backups on google drive or onedrive or something in case something gets corrupted.

I have back ups everywhere, but I get the same warning for every file I try to load in. I will try those I have on my laptop as well now, maybe they will work...

Okay, just some extra info.

I have made a copy of another model I was working on (AML90). When I loaded the model in I got the same warning I posted before and I clicked: Adopt File's unit scale. The AML90's hull is 3.79 meter long. Yet my hull is currently about 1.5 meter long.

1 inch is 2.54 cm

1.5m * 2.54 = 3.81 m

So yeah. I still dont know how this happened but I gues I could just go and scale this and my DAF model up a bit at this point with the scale tool and everything is fine!?






And just a sneak peak, because I know there are people who really want this model.

Scale does not matter that much until you go to exporting, i think. Until then it is fine as long as the model is scaled proportionally.
