This post is going to be an overall update of BASED | NA and the North American side of the community.
First thing is first, Dockside our NA lead admin has stepped down to focus on his re-entering the military. I will be taking over Lead admin of the NA server. Keep in mind that Fnixer is still the EU lead admin. This is not changing.
Theres acouple of issues/requests I figured I should tackle for everyone.
First of all, Why isn't our server seeded anymore?
Well, Basically our admins got bored of playing PR. It became really stale. We aren't really going to admin well if we don't have fun. So we all just went and played other games.
So, does this mean we will stop hosting PR servers.
No. We will continue to host servers and develope stuff for PR until we don't have the money for them.
Reserve slots, How do I get one?
We have two systems for reserve slots. You can donate $3 USD a month and get a reserve slot, or clans can PM me on realitymod or our forums to work out a clan deal. We will also be rewarding people who often Seed and contribute positively on our servers.
So whats the plan for BASED | NA ?
Well currently I'm removing admins from our admin team who are inactive, So we will be recruiting new admins for our NA admin team. We are looking for Aussie, Kiwi, Korean, Chinese and Japanese admins for the later timezone and for the larger community that plays on our NA server.
In the lead up to 1.4 we will be aiming to get our admins back in shape and in the rhythm of administration. We will be seeding our NA server either later this week or the start of next week.
I would also like to thank everyone who came out to our WW2 event this weekend. Was a blast, lots of good rounds. And some thanks to our very own [TZ] Jello who organised the logistics, seeded and organised admins while the hand over was happening last week.
Also another thank you to Spono from BigD for organising a kick *** AUSNZ vs Japan event. We were happy to host it and can't wait for the next one!
