Updated the package with the new loading font
Did some testing with an upscaled and enhanced version of the original chat font and it seems to come out okay. Doing it this way the spacing stays exactly the same.

Yeah your font obviously looked better but I think this upscaled version will fix the last issues I saw with this. Perfect!
Did you have a change to look at this
"i" spacing issue?

The spacing on that font should be better now, it was using an older method of conversion so I just re-converted it with the new method. Updated the package with the new version.

So everything looking really solid atm! So the only thing I found was when you are tying your chat message it still has the weird overlap problem:

Yeah I hadn't quite finished that so I didn't put it in yet, it should be good now.
I also tweaked the voice chat font since that was a bit squished together previously.

I wasn't sure if I should add a bit of transparency as well since it shows up noticeably brighter than before. I did the same thing to the vehicle hud font.
Edit: added very minor fix for potential color fringing on a few fonts

The only issue I found so far is the Ingame insurgent cache announcement text bug showing up again.
Tested with the latest link.

Whoops, forgot to remove that character again when I re-converted it. Fixed.

BTW anyone still using the fonts_custom.zip make sure to remove it, otherwise you won't benifit from updates that will now come through PR updates itself, not here anymore. As the zip will overwrite our fonts.

Oh, that's why I still have that A character at every beginning of a message popping up on upper left

Is this related to the update?

This is what happens when the texture and .dif file don't match! Fixed for next update, until then regular chat still shows up fine for commander.
Also, please direct further issues to the
feedback thread or bug section.
