Pwner, this will be the final time the actions of our moderation are discussed in a feedback thread by you. All future iterations will be removed. You can consider that a conspiracy or us aiding community X in any way you see, but it will still be removed. It is getting extremely boring.
We do not particularly favour any community or person on these forums. Perhaps we are biased sure, we are only players of PR and part of this community afterall. But we do not let this bias influence on our moderation work. Again, if you disagree, nobody cares. And by now your opinion is known so you don't need to continue to post off-topic about it here. Further discussion can be done in private between you and our mods.
We do not remove posts for any other reason then stated in our rules. Off-topic, rants, insulting posts or piracy/hacks discussions are the usual reasons why. The removed post you quote there is an extreme obvious case of having absolutely nothing to do with feedback on a server thread, how you don't see that is beyond me. Neither do we need to explain our actions each time we make them. This is a private forum, our rules.

pwner_pt I'd love to talk over your impression of our community on TeamSpeak. Even if we won't agree, it might satisfy some of your issues, and give me a better insight on what I need to work on to improve.

Was a little surprised by the abundance of mg's in a recent 'contact' battle.
Apparently players were intentionally getting limited kits by glitching/abusing kit request system.
Server admins are aware of this and do not punish such behavior nor on internal battles, nor on public server.
Admins and rules exist to oversee intended game mechanics, kit limitations per squad in this case.
Dev's can't fix shit immediately or prevent everything physically.

Neither can the admins.. Sorry, but can you get mineral to make a statement, clarifying whether or not this is permitted?
I've gotten comments from quite a wide range of community members, staff and regulars on our server that this is fine. If it's not fine, then we can definitely start policing it.

It is an exploit. It is definitely not a feature of the game. Kit limitations exist for a reason. There is also no way that suddenly an entire squad accidently requests an AR at the same time.
Can't believe I have to make a statement on this tbh. People defending this are just trying to bend over backwards cause they like this exploit and having been using it for way too long. Sure it's an easy one that has stayed mostly under the radar for a long time, but it is still an exploit as much as building a FOB in a building is.
We'll look into fixing it but until then if I were an admin I'd kick every member of my community doing it out immediately. It is totally against the spirit of the game where these limitations are in place for gameplay balance.

Out of curiosity does that mean Admins should oversee asset players making sure they don't use TS or other third party software to communicate between driver and gunner? Since it seems rather clear it isn't an intended game mechanic. The intended mechanic is ofc for all of them to speak over each other on mumble confusing each other. This clearly gives them an unfair advantage playing against other asset players that don’t use it or infantry.

That clears that up, thank you. I will be directing my admins to deal with it.

What? One is is exploiting INGAME mechanics to get kits. The other is using an EXTERNAL tool to make things a bit easier. They are totally unrelated things? And it is still a PRTA feedback thread. If you want to discuss PR related stuff further, move it to a new thread.

If it bothers you, you could just make it like LAT/Grenadier in your events by adding "support":300 to KIT_ALLOCATION_DELAY in your config. It's obviously an oversight that kits on the ground don't "count" for the squad.

Sorry if this is the wrong place to ask.
How difficult is it to add that to the pyc for the game-modes?

PRTA won't punish players for abusing the broken kit selection system.
Da faq? Why the fuck would using an exploit be chill for you?

As a Contact! sysadmin I was at the server at the time but I was focusing on the asset spawn being broken. I think the Off-season battle (which is not a tournament battle) was played with standard PRTA server rules, because tournament rules have a lot of point-related punishments that wouldn't fit this event.
I kinda disagree on kit duping being an exploit, but I can see how it would be not allowed in official PRT rules. Exploits are usually clear to the player of being "broken and unfair", for example glitching inside walls. With kit duplicating it's not clear at all that this is not intended. Most kits already have a team pool so duping ad nauseum would cause issues for the team.
To me "hey could you drop your kit so I can get a medic" shouldn't be prohibited unless it's removed from the game.

PRTA what is stopping you from adopting this objectively superior layout by R-DEV Max for your tracker/BR page:

Can you make it read tracker files and not the summary json?

So what. Your current site doesn't even have a search bar for the public. If you like the functionality of your current setup why don't you just make it private and make the Max layout public. Or just give everyone the capability to search the trackers with your current layout.
