Su-25 --> 950km/h max

I think A-10 Warthog and tankbuster are just a few other nicknames but both refer to the A-10 Thunderbolt II.

Sorry I know it's not relevant, but I love the look of Frogfoot, from the air that is, if u see it flying below you. It's kinda short and wide, and reminds me a little of those WW2 vampires, or a manta ray...

I love A-10 Thunderbolt II, it looks different than other aircraft, GAU-8 Avanger makes great sound (and works great to).

BTW, here's a great pic showing exactly how big the gun is

Dear lord, why on earth did they feel the need to mount a GAU-8 on a VW Beetle?!

Just think of the damage to the suspension!
In-game, I don't mind which I fly - they're both decent at what they do, so it's not a problem.
I do love the solid chunky asthetics of the A-10 in real life tho... I don't think it's ugly in the slightest, it's a very asthetically pleasing shape if you ask me

I doubt the beetle has enough power to fire the gau. If the minigun used in predator took 2 x 30kg truck batteries then the gau must require a gigantic amount to fire
I also like the a10 look and its surprisingly agile in the game? I think it'd be a bit more stoggy to fly
'The GAU-8 itself weighs 2760 N (620 lb), mass 281 kg, but the complete weapon, with feed system and drum, weighs 1,830 kg (4,029 lb) with a maximum ammunition load.
The barrels themselves are driven by the aircraft's dual hydraulic system.'

I also thought the A10 wouldn't be a very smooth flight, but then when I played "lock on" I was pleasantly surprised.
Shame I've never had a chance to fly one in combat, as nobody plays Kashan, and when they do jets r turned off

Its not mounted on the beetle its next to it so you can see the size. And the A10 is very manueverable.

The Su-25 too has a Titanium cockpit, it can travel a little above Mach 1 in speed while the A-10 will stop dead around 400, also it's true that the Su-25 does not have main canon thats as impresive as the A-10 but it's canon still can tear metal through tanks, and it also compensates by being able to carry much more weight in weapons, bombs, rocket, etc....
Whats that i hear about the Su-25 not being very precise like the A-10, I think you guys never heard of the Su-25KM "scorpion", this model is as precise as any A-10 can be (just by updating the cockpit and avionics system), I Believe the Su-25KM can beat an A-10 any day of the week

Didnt realise the a10 was that slow, does that apply in game?
