I know about freelook but it disables the controls of the heli unfortunately which isnt a good idea when in close proximity to a building.
Better then nothing but I would not normally use it where as the jets have a rear view camera and can still be flown, its easier to flick back and forth with that where as free look needs to be directed

I agree sometimes if you are not carefull you can flip your chopper and then you have to explain what happened

On many servers fighting or attacking main bases is banned because it leads to spawn killing which is unrealistic.

For this reason and the fact maps ending in a cap out happens less often, these are the least played parts of the map.
It seems a good basis for Skirmish gameplay to have the map boundaries within one of the main bases not normally fought over



For example the Qinling skirmish on one of the main bases would work well I think. Ive never assaulted the british base on foot, using hooks to climb the perimeter, etc


The Basra carpark and airport terminal is pretty unique and might make an interesting quick game


The chechen operations base on kozelsk all the way up to the main base is another great smaller map within the map kinda place

That is because when you first flip the selector lever from "safe", it goes to "auto" first and then to "semi-auto".

Also, good to see a 2007 thread go all the way to today...
