I do check most of the time. It's just when people look/act/sound suspicious I tend to spray and pray.
Plenty of times people have chickened out, run away from the enemy, following the enemy attack direction and I've gunned them down thinking they were the enemy.
These people should hide, let the enemy get past them, acquire an enemy weapon and then start shooting the enemy in the back with their own weapon using the sounds of fighting to mask their actions.
