You definately know you play it too much when your just nodding off after a long session on Al basrah and you get woken up by the sounds of IED explosions in your head.

When you're walking to work, hear a jackhammer going off at a construction site, and think it's a PKM trying to gun you down so you ALMOST jump behind cover before realizing you need to stop gaming so much.

When you go for a 5km run and come up with the "PR workout".

1. Run for 1 min and 20 sec.
2. Do 10 burpees. (from standing to flat on your belly to big jump back to standing)
3. Max sprint for 30 sec.
4. Go back to 1.
Repeat over 5km

when u want a 3d map marker irl so its easier for other to see what your lookin at, rather than look there! (wave arm around randomly)

At a stop light you space your car at least a half a cars length between you and the car in front of you.

Asking family members and friends what the "sitrep" is on photos being uploaded or emailed.

You can find excellent shooting points by looking at the buildings while you walk down the street, and know what doorways to stand against if a vehicle decides to drive up on the sidewalk.

construction cranes are no longer a threat because everyone knows that if someone decides to go up there A) they can't hit you with the marksmen rifle B) by the time the first shot is fired they will be vaporized by the cobra, SAW fire, APC, or they will have fallen off of it.

You can locate areas in your neighborhood where helicopters can land, and know the areas they will land and how many trees they will hit as they attempt the landing and how many they will hit as they crash.

Seeing a land rover driving and immediately think about how much cooler it would be without the roof and instead with a .50 Cal gun in the rear and a passenger side mounted machine gun up front.

I was in a flower store right before christmas and my dad pointed at some flower. Instinctivily I looked down to see the degrees on the "compass". Suddenly I realised it wasn't there and it surprised me a bit. I had not even played PR for a couple of weeks at the time. It's stuck now alright.

when you refer to your car as "the technical" to your friends only to be greeted by blank faces

when in a rush to catch the last train to london you find yourself yelling to your friend "get to the choppah!"

Happens to me all the time. Once it kept me up all night. Always woke up because I might be getting shot at soon or something.

oh, i got two more:

When you think of the letters "P" and "R" together, as in "PR", as standing for "Project Reality", rather than "Public Relations", as most people associate these two letters as representing.

I heard someone say yesterday: "Yeah, it's just a big PR move by the company."
And I was like, Project Reality? What? Where?
