I Might have an idea that would settle all this stuff about the MEC:

They are not a real military power right? They are a colition of all the Middle Eastern countries. That means the fallowing weapons are open to them that are made in the middle east:

Assault rifles:

HK 2002 assault rifle: Made by Iran:

Modern Firearms - Assault Rifles -

Tavor TA-21 assault rifle: Made by Israel:

Modern Firearms - Tavor TAR-21 assault rifle

IMI Galil Assault rifle: Made bye Israel:

Modern Firearms - IMI Galil assault rifle

Vz.58 Assault rifle: Made by: Czechoslovakia:

Modern Firearms - SA Vz.58 assault rifle

SubMachine Guns:

Scorpion Vz.61: Made by Czechoslovakia:

Modern Firearms - Scorpion SA Vz 61 submachine gun

UZI: Made by Israel:

Modern Firearms - IMI UZI / Mini UZI / Micro UZI submachine gun

Machine Guns:

Negev light machine gun: Made bye Israel:

Modern Firearms - Negev machine gun

Sniper rifles:

CZ 700 Sniper rifle: Made by: Czechoslovakia:

Modern Firearms - Sniper Rifles - CZ 700

GALATZ-Galil Sniper rifle: Made by: Israel:

Modern Firearms - Sniper Rifles - Galil Sniper

Zstava M76 Sniper rifle: made by: Yugoslavia:

Modern Firearms - Zastava M76 sniper rifle

M89SR Sniper rifle: made by: Israel:

Modern Firearms - TCI / TEI M89SR sniper rifle

IMHO These weapons would make the MEC stand out a lot more than the stuff we have now. Insurgents with AKs look good, but a MEC army would use mainly Middle Eastern manufactured weapons to cut down shipping costs and also because they are already there for use. Most of them are from Israel, but as you can see I did find some non Israel made weapons that would also be great to have in game.

I doubt that Isreal would ever give weapons to any arab nation or be part of a coalition with them.
And by the way, the G3 is being produced in the Middle East by license.

What about the AS "Val" for the Russian SF kit, when it arrives?

Modern Firearms - AS "Val" silenced assault rifle

What?! How could any army possibly reject something as ludicrously overpowered as a full-powered, internally-silenced assault rifle?

Well, I can see the balance issues and all, but...come on!

Back to the topic, change the name of the Spec Ops kit before you change the loadout. The name 'Special Operations' is only a noob magnet - same with the Sniper kit.

ROFL.

I don't think we need a name change. Just a newb filter.

Just call it MARSOC, that covers both the 1st and 2nd Marine Special Ops Battalions (plus the support elements)
