Though i agree with som earlyer poster that the US would bomb the shit out off the defenses iff this is surpose to be enything like realisme, there is no way the US would land troops just to let them be slaugtherd, atleast not in todays world.
But im sure there will be som sort off offensive abileties for the US when they land on the beach.

Perhaps there's something strategically important on the island that the U.S doesn't want to destroy (Like the supposed nuclear facility). Because truth be told, if there wasn't anything of value on the island, no army would bother attacking it period as you'd only be observing attrition warfare.

Hopefully the Marines will one day get to use AMTRAC's ingame, instead of the LAV, which was never designed to transport troops through ocean/ deep water.

The map looks great though, looks like it'll be good times.

The other day I said to my friend (who is also into PR) that the PR team should make a map similar to a D-Day map, I even had visuals in my head as to what it would look like. Then look what happens, 2 days later BAM! A new map like exactly how I thought I would want it appears.

This map looks awsome, new statics... and I don't think I have ever seen a sky as beutiful as that on bf2 before.
