Choppers are more fun than the jets imo, but are more susceptible to bad players.

Jets can engage ground targets without help, but the laser from the ground really helps them.

Helos can engage ground targets more effectively than jets without laser, though laser really helps, especially in hot areas. But since they can engage independently more effectively than a jet can they often go off hunting by themselves and get killed.

So 64 is a more sure way of a good game than 32 imo, but 32 can be even more fun cuz choppers just rock. 16 is great fun, but only with a air controller (commander)

Choppers are far more teamplay based than aircraft, mostly planes are just used by super leet pilotz who don't give a damn about helping the team, and more often than not they crash within two minutes. Combine that with the ~15 players waiting for the damn things to spawn FOR THE WHOLE ROUND and it makes 64 player just hell.

To be honest my favorite was 0.6 beta
with jets,choppers,m82 and ZPU4 inside the bunkers -all at the same time :D

hmmm this is a good qustion;
i'm not to sure, i can't chose between 32 or 64 because i like the choppers. But i also like the fear the forg and A-10 cause when their guns go off and your near a tank lol

Everyone has their opinions... Though I can testify to the fact that I've played many a good game with the jets, either lasing, flying the CAS plane, or the air superiority jet. I've always instilled the policy of don't go into any enemy territory unless you've been requested to and you know ALL the details. Actually, on many servers, my worst enemy has been someone at the main base yelling at me or a squaddy the get up in the air, yet I would refuse, because the lack of intel puts us at huge risk, and therefore the entire team because they've lost a hugely important asset. Of course, the guy tks the plane and exits the server :? (Actually, I think that might've been Mp5punk even in a squad with me :) )

For planes to be used properly, they require much more inter squad communication than any attack chopper does, because choppers don't need lases from friendlies like planes do to take out the targets.

I really enjoy 64, but I also love 32, which is quite underplayed.

I partly agree, i fly jets myself but i'm not one of those losers who waits around for the whole round for one, if there's one there i'll fly it but if not it's just tough isn't it lol. I fly choppers a lot too and i know what u mean about them being teamplay based especially when they're transport choppers. But if i had the choicie i'd usually pick jets, but i only really get to fly them on training or Com matches, which is fine by me tbh

32 because I like the tanks, and they don't survive when there are jets. The choppers are much more manageable.

I prefer Jets usually, although i find it a lot more fun when the team works together and calls in targets and lazes..which i havent seen much of latetly.

oh please f*** off with the choppers ... No offence i like flying them and i think they are cool but on kashan they really do suck. You have to fly down to an alitude where your target can hit you better than you can hit him. And the aa is too overpowered. Jets all the way

Jets are my love. Even though I never seem to get into CAS squad.

Either 32 or 64 is fine, but I think i'd prefer to play 16 sometimes. Just for the sake of Kashan not being a whole armor whore map.

the use of the 128 layer (I don't mean 128 players, just the layer)

So Rudd, what would be on this layer?

I'm after a more interesting asset spread.

right now it seems like PR is "you can either have the weak APCs, or the WTFPWNBBQ apcs"

Why can't we mix Bradleys and Strykers, BTRs and BMPs? How about TOW humvees thrown in for spice?

Having all these different vehicles would reward the teams that stick together imo. And possibly, this layer would have no air assets.

Don't go insane about that comment, its just something different since all other kashan layers do have air assets.

Because afaik there is NO map in PR that has a "ARMOUR" layer, and I think it would be fun if there was one.

Yes, a map with tanks on both sides but no attack choppers would be awesome. It would reward good tank tactics since currently a chopper and infantry spotter can waste multiple tanks in no time instead of having some good tank battles.

2 trans choppers, 3 LAVs/5 BTRs, 2 trans trucks, two logis, 4 HMMVS, 4 Vodniks.
