You're right, it won't help

That "4gb patch", which is also known as large address aware fix, is included in BF2 1.5 patch. So all these kind of third party tools are now obsolete.

This sticky fix generated a punkbuster kick, MDF type. (tampered exe file...)

BF2 1.5 patch made this fix obsolete:

- Allowed BF2.exe to use more than 2Gb RAM

Tried everything but it does not help much.
Then tried -
decreasing TEXTURE FILTERING from HIGH to MEDIUM and its work fine. No bsod and desktop.

I have Vista 32bit and this is still a problem when I turn textures on High which sucks cause I have to keep them on medium.
Anyone know of anything else I could try?

So yeah I have completed all of the following up to par, and for a while it worked without a hitch. Of course that was just Coop. When I eventually moved to deployment, I began getting kicked via punkbuster because of the modded bf2.exe. Any idea if I did anything wrong and how i can fix it or Anyway to revert it... I foolishly deleted my backup thinking it was junk
