I enjoyed it.
As for the ending, I landed in their main to fin them, without realizing there was a JDAM coming.

Got 2 feet off the ground and *BOOM*.

Ye I enjoyed it too.....We had a good squad and I enjoyed playing with some ppl I see posting on the forums but not met before, like Rudd, Drake and Razzvan. All my squad were very good players, and I'd be happy if any of them converted to the Axis of Evil....
Central Command will be disgusted to hear I have been hanging out with NATO players, and its probably 2 years 'political re-education' for saying this, but actually, they're not all that bad?

Obviously, all TW nights cannot be successful, but I'm really looking forward to next one.
US side was quite organized, but on MEC side I didn't saw not even a trace of teamwork, except in my squad. We did all flags captures & defence, without commander, while other two squads was driven nonsensical all around the map. I suppose that this was because people didn't catch round seriously, regard to lack of people on the server.
My squad,
musp3r
HR.pingu
Gorst@h
Dragosh
kingkong5
gave absolutely their best, with an epic West Al Burj defence, under very heavy & persistent enemy attack.

When we were about to bring the MEC forces to its knees, I took out two rally points west of West Al Burj. One of those was yours I assume?
I also enjoyed the situation where I was driving a humvee near Bridge. I drove over a small hill, which made my car fall over. When driving over the hill, I saw this Vodnik moving in. My humvee exploded, while the Vodnik came closer. The .50 call gunner was looking at the wreckage, but (fortunately) I'd moved to the side of the hill, where he couldn't (well, didn't) see me. Then fired some rounds at the gunner, but couldn't kill him. Both the driver and the gunner got out of the vehicle (couldn't see where they went, they were on the other side of the hill). I threw a grenade, hoping to hit them, but I must 've missed, because they both came storming over that bloody hill! I was lucky to be able to take out the first. Then when the second came near (not on the location I expected, hehe), I could barely shoot him. Right after I finally did, a Huey came to the rescue, flying so low he would've hit the MEC guy if I hadn't shot him! (pilot was.......... alex1234 of course

).
Then the Huey suddenly got hit by an RPG, killing Hero Alex! The chopper survived the hit though. It sort of crashed down, then exploded.
One of the MEC guys I killed was a marksman, so I took his rifle and then shot the guy who (I think) shot the RPG.
That was simply amazing

.

think the lack of turn out was the main probs, but seems alot of people were a lil unlucky with RL stuff happening short notice.

Was following this very disappointed to read there was not much team play, after all if it does not work at this level when its organised what chance have we on normal server.
Luckily occasionally you do get two side working well to produce a great round. I think you’ll always get headless chickens running about not getting the basic ideas of capturing flags and defending them while the other squad steps up to take on a flag. Many a round I’ve seem more than two squad at flags they cant even capture and left a flag free and undefended.
Going Command I do try at times not to shove orders but more to point squads in the right direction, I’ve seen 64 player maps won by simply one or two squads working together and that might be only twelve player or lower. I don’t mind lone wolf’s when I see them really get in the way of the enemy and rack up kills, I’ll take that over a squad guarding a Flag that the enemy cant capture.
I’d be interested in next time.

Then you was the One who sealed off our destiny there.
Congratulations!
You would never get West Al Burj without cutting our rally off!!!

So true

. You were annoying the **** out of us there man

. Good fight

.
At a certain point I sneaked towards where you were coming from (not yet knowing where your rallies were). I went downhill, towards the river and went further west. Then I almost tripped over your rally point, placed against the hill. When I took it out, I went further south, when I spotted another rally point, a bit to the east (the "usual" place

).
I was lucky nobody saw me, hehe. If one of you'd spawned when I was "in the open", I probably wouldn't have made it out alive, hehe.
