She's turning 19 soon. She is occasionally on the forums (InfamousButterfly). She is an enigma of duality. Sometimes she is very, very immature (<9yrs old), but other times she is mature beyond her years (more sense and maturity than some 30yr olds).

She has a DeviantArt account by the same name. Most of her work is fan artwork for cartoons and comics, but she has the ability to other art... even if she never chooses to.

Edit: I was just wondering. Why just use one map for the movie? Kashan, the unfinished BHD map, and maybe even EJOD could be use for filming parts of the movie, yes? Kashan has the large base to use as the staging area.

Kasahn would be good for filming those opening scenes (where the delt'as take down that "convoy" and when they pick up hoot) Ejod possibly to since it has those really CQB areas in the city

If you want to start in two weeks, well... I would say get geared for filming in 0.75, unless some unholy miracle occurs and 0.8 is released in the meantime.

I think the main issue would be lighting and the occasional inconsistency with background. Kashan is overcast and extremely barren, as opposed to EJOD which is somewhat brighter/lighter in terms of colour. Also, the Little Birds and Black Hawks did play a major role in the battle, and they're not present on EJOD. As for the unfinished BHD map, well, IIRC it is mostly "finished" but is due in a future (hopefully 0. 8) release, and thus cannot be released to us.

I spent a little time running around some maps today, all of which have some (IMO) pros, and cons (one common con being they're all MEC army, and subsequently a lack of Technicals/AK-47s/Plainclothes militants):

KASHAN 64 TRAINING
PROS:
+ Lots of vehicles. All the ones that we'll need.
+ Lots of space.
+ "Shanty Town"s.

CONS:
- No built up urban areas.
- Barren landscape.

GULF OF OMAN 64
PROS:
+ Little Bird Transport
+ Coastline
+ Nice lighting
+ Some tall buildings.

CONS:
- No Humvees, Black Hawks, Attack Little Birds
- Not a lot of urban space to work with.

JABAL AL BURJ 64 TRAINING
PROS:
+ Black Hawks, Attack Little Birds
+ Urban area, suitable "Target Building"

CONS:
- Small urban area.
- No Transport Little Birds
- Attack Little Birds do not contain rocket pods.
- Poor lighting.

EJOD DESERT 64
PROS:
+ Nice, large urban area.
+ Good lighting
+ Urban area features variety of buildings
+ Space available for filming

CONS:
- No air vehicles of any sort.

That being said, just out of curiosity how difficult would it be to modify a map? Would it be more difficult to add vehicles and maybe an airstrip (EJOD) or add buildings/props and change lighting (Kashan 64)?

Someone who has the fancy video editors (Vegas, Premier, etc) can adjust the color levels, can't they? In digital photography you can adjust levels to compensate for bad/changing light temperature/color/intensity. Its not as good as if you had proper consistant lighting, but it compensates for when you don't.

You make it too difficult, all that would be needed are air vehicles and basicly a training map version of Ejod. For coastline shots you can use Gulf, or Basrah. And for mounting up you can use Basrah or Kash. Sure the lighting is differant, but the lighting was differant in the movies aswell, since it took time to progress to differant areas. So yeah, all you'd need to do is make a training version of Ejod, and then use that, Kash, and some map with a coastline.

Yeah, I probably do make things difficult. :P But like I said earlier, I'm not interested making a movie along the lines of "lol I crashed a Black Hawk and called it Black Hawk Down". Sorry, but I'm a bit nitpicky when it comes to details, not to mention a pessimist.

Certainly there is nothing wrong with editing lighting or a map, but that is assuming we can find such individuals who can do that. I was merely providing alternatives as well as my own personal evaluation of said possible alternatives.

Yea good ideas, we could use Al Basrah for some of the CQB shots surely, and with the abundance of technicals and ak-47's it would look the part, oh and anyone thought about the stadium at the end????
Is there a stadium in road to Karkand or something like that????
Omg there is a perfect map that isn't in PR, its in a mod called hard justice, damn it i cant remember the name but massive urban area with stadium and lots of "target buildings" i shall try and find it......

I used to play Hard Justice, it has some great maps. I think that "mountainous desert" map would be a cool port for PRSP. I may do that for my private use one day, but I've never even installed the map editor yet.

How about an older version of Al Bashrah ?
We have 2 Black Hawks, little birds, tanks, apcs and humvees!
It has one biiiiiiiiiig urban area, slums and a little desert, where we can film the black hawk scenes and the convoy when they are flying to the town.
The slums can be in the scene where the convoy lets the little delta force squad out, i think they are 4 men, and they are going to the broken black hawk.

How about that?

My DSL started acting retarded again. (Resynchs, lag, DNS errors. DSL packet error counts reach 1000 in just a couple of minutes) I saw posts on the net about other AT&T customers having problems lately, but hopefully it will (partially) resolve soon.

While Acemantura on the training server at allfairgames said I was fairly good for a new Huey pilot (suffering from heavy lag), I'd be of little use in a movie... Except when you need to film a BH going down. ;) Any other positions/jobs/roles would be fine with me. I suppose since my connection may make me unreliable, put me down for a filler/unimportant role. (ie: "Angry Somalian #12")

One thing... Ummm. Somalians. They don't look like insurgents or MEC. Will their be skin mods? <joking>And will "Angry Somallian #12" get angry eyebrows?</joking> ;)
