Yeah so far on the test server I've seen some BAD deaths :-P

I was being chased down by a player and they walked right into my trap *BOOM* waesnt much left but a blocked road and a smoldering truck.

Each placement and destruction of the cave-ins/land slides will be hurtful to both sides. You will have to choose what more important. Keeping the pass open, allowing easy vehicle and troop reinforcements both sides or closing it off and both teams losing the ability to use assets to there fullest and having to take the long way around.

because if one team has helis, then they would just blow everything up to block everyone else, while they fly in and blow everything to hell

but im sure the level will be cool anyway :)
plus the smoke and rock effects really hide the crappyness of the bf2 engine.

..humm doesn't lag for me. Guess you'll have to join 2008 :-P


If it end up really really laggy it will be fixed for 0.85 The map was never intended to support lower end users, but I went back and optimized a few items.

But Korengal has fried my video card. So I'm in the same boat. So no more edits until 0.85, got it in just in time too.
