Re: Was v0.8 better then you thought?

I didnt like .7 too much so I havent played it in like 6 months. I am more hooked on .8, but certain issues can easily become a dealbreaker.
-Weapon accuracy. Why even have auto/burst modes when they are garbage unless an enemy is 5 feet from you?
-Spawning. Got to love being teleported to the main half the time. Is it picking a wrong rally point? Good thing I am being punished by having to run for 10minutes to the battlefield.
-Running. Way too harsh. Speed is fine, but it takes 5x as long to recover.
-Bleeding. I started bleeding after I got out of a vehicle once. On top of many other strange situations. It seems a little too excessive.
-Healing. Can medics heal themselves? I don't know. Am I laying on a ground spinning around like a moron for a reason? There is no way of knowing if its working or not.
-Kits. I love the machine gunner kit...but why is only like 2 people on a freakin 32man team allowed to have it? 1 per squad is fine, but wow...you really get screwed trying for that kit...much less any others.
-Grenade throwing is a chore. I mean I dont even know the trick behind it. The screen just jerks around and half the time its thrown low and close to my feet as if they weigh 20lbs. BF2's nade lag still exists and makes it worse. Not even close to realistic there.
Well those are my first impressions from a new player. So I don't really care if the "Ive been playing since .1" pros come in and critisize it.
Getting in a squad with someone that has a desire to give orders and encourage teamplay is great. I dont mind getting only a few kills a round if it was a fun one. Its far more attractive than .7 which I didnt play for more than half an hour. I like how infantry play is still very important and you dont get creamed by vehicle pros every 10 seconds.
Its a nice break from a few years of vanilla infantry only games.
