i LOVE this ifv/apc models are great, the 6 o'clock thingie is not an issue, almost every vehicle has that problem.

Good news guys, I have just manage too get someone on the UV! So he said within 3 days or so It would take less time if the model was by part by part! Anyway lets bring this baby alive

The RWS will most likely be on top of the turret and function as a hunter/killer sight for the commander. The heavy rear door will be left alone, but the sqd leaders hatch will be removed and instead there will be a large hatch covering most of the rear hull.FastWinston wrote:I`w heard it has a RCWS instead of the squad leaders cupola and a combined rear hatch and door instead of that old, stupidly heavy door, or is that some kind of secret?

So it will be like the top hatch on the other CVs, can you mount a MG there? So there will be no ramp/door combo for the back like in the dutch CV? I can't see the reason to remove the squad leaders hatch, seems like a good tool for situational awareness..

The RWS can fit anyting, MG3, FN MAG, MINIMI, M60 and the M2 Browning. I have tried the Protector system with a .50 cal and it's amazing.
As for the rear hatch/back door thing, that is just what I have heard. But I do not worry, first deliveries of the new vehicle won't be before 2014, at the earliest. Hopefully before our new F-35 fighters it is said

Winston, do you know the diffrences between the Norwegian and the Dutch CV90 allready? If not i have a load of pictures that could help.
