'[R-DEV wrote:eggman']SF has never been a specific focus in PR. Engineers and SF are valuable in xtract mode, but we've never intentionally focussed on SF as a class specifically.

After reading this i took a deep breath, and than i said " thanks god", but did u read the part that i said? "we need to give other classes certain stuff too." i meant u guys need to, not me.

Hi there,
I have added the File in my Downloadproject:

I cannot understand it why you only accept direct downloads... on your downloadsite!

If you want this to take off, which is should, you will have to sort out the download. My brother has been trying for a day to get it!!
We currently play JO-Reality but this could be a good alternative to what is a dying game.

I loved JOps a few years ago! But have been a BF2er since June 2005, so never played that mod. I think you'll find Project Reality a solid reality-based mod for one of the best games ever released on the PC. And it'll only get better, there's quite a ways until PR 1.0.
As for the official downloads on this site, let me just say they were NOT very good even from one day one. I had to check the forums here to find a fast, quality link from a poster. I checked three of four until I found even this one, which I believe was a German site even. Very confusing and about the only major con to PR thus far, as it is limiting and frustrating potential players.
Torrents are not what I'd call a quality download source. Not to mention all the posts I see where people are asking what a .torrent is and how to download. Speeds are limited by upload speeds, and anyone with DSL knows that means maximum 80 kB/s - quality servers can get us upwards of 300 kB/s.

damn... fresh installation, applied the mod, activated it in bf2 custom games menu, but when the game shuts down and attempts to restart, the screen just goes black, flickers a couple of times and returns to windows. and what exactly am I supposed to do with the client setup? when i run it from my downloads folder, it says that the setup is corrupted. a little help, anyone?

But I am you Maverick
What patch are you on with regards EA. You need to be patched up to 1.22. If you are not, delete all PR folders from the mods folder, then update to 1.22 then reintall PR.
If you have a corrupted DL you need to redownload it.

Talk about picking a way too popular nickname

I guess everyone likes Top Gun

I don't have any patches applied currently, so i'll give it a try. thanks!

I installed the game, patched to 1.22, unzipped the prmm_0306_server.rar archive to the mods folder, then ran bf2 and when i tried to activate it, still nothing. When attempting to restart, the screen goes black and then returns to windows. there was also a setup.exe file included, but it doesn't work, i have downloaded it several times, but it still says that some files are corrupted. any ideas?

yep, I just noticed that for some reason my setup file is 1,03 mb in size, although it should be 764mb

buggy file uploaded, that was the problem...

I know I'm a little slow on the uptake here, but I've only just recently grabbed the lastest .3 version, and love it!!
Just wanted to drop by to thank you all again for such great work. It looks and plays beautifully. It's the game BF2 should have been!
Cheers!

Downloaded 0.25 , played it like 2 hours I guess
Then bought all that SF en EF **** (waste of money)
Downloaded OPK and PRMM 0.3 and now I'm hooked to PRMM
Tried to go back to BF2 when there were no PRMM servers up , took me like 5 min.to get the hell out of there.
PRMM all the way , thanks for the mod guys.

I just wish more people would play PR... people need to suck it up and spend a couple hours downloading, we need fresh meat.
The only gripe I have about the game is the painfully long spawn time... it would be okay, but then there's the annoying factor of helicopter spawn campers.

I finally succeeded in installing PRMM to be convinced myself that it rocks and i can't help but also to express my deep gratitude for this mod. I must say that Battlefield was like a soldier hit by artillery - no chance of reviving it. But you guys did the impossible and brought this game back to life, the way it should have been in the first place. awesome job and i can't wait to see the final 1.0 version of it.

Heh, this is really funny. The whole BF2 community flat out hates EA and DICE, and how crappy BF2 is... yet here we are, in a mod for the game that absolutely perfects it, and we are praising the creator of this grand modification for every little thing they have done. I really hope EA doesn't try to buy you guys out!
And the people who play this game are (more or less) well behaved and smart, and are good teamplayers. Nothing like BF2v, which is full of lamers who don't care what their team does. No, in this game, the team wins as long as they fight together, no matter what.
