Hello, ive been working on a map for about half a year now, and i recived some help from Spyker to get a testing version working.

4shared.com - online file sharing and storage - download the_karez_offensive.rar


Please download this link and extract it into

C:/Programfiles/EA/Battlefield2/Mods/pr/Levels/

And extract it there, do not copy that though, just find your way to it. Its pretty simple ;)

I belive RR will be hosting it!

i will try it out as soon as i can, and give you some feedback if you need it.

Update:

flying threes and bushes in C5- flying threes everywher on the map

too small helipad area for blufor

I love the sand effect when landing with a huey

the road near blufor main is in the air

vilagges should be a little bigger

my personal opinion is that this map would be alot better as a insurgency map where blufor would have a hard time finding caches and getting ambushed.

Update:

no ladder to towers at blufor base

many places where it is impossible to drive on the road, becouse it is either flying in the air or to steep

could use some more very small towns on hilltops, so that fighting could be more interesting.

Its got some issues im trying to upload a linux friendly version.

And if you want tell me what is wrong... I honestly say, its not done... Its a test... If you wish to give me any tips, wait until you played with all of us.. Kinda annoying listening to stuff i already know...

hey wicca.

here is some feedback on your map:

the NOR mainbase could be either ways bigger or make it some kind of oupost/FOB
also the road shloudnt end right next to the base, maybe make it leave the map to the west and add somekind of checkpoint to it so that the ISAF can check afghan poeple riding down the road, and also make the road a few meters away from the base hesco so that there is a small protection form carbombs.

2 roads meeting, the terrain could be a bit evener and the roads intersection could be better

Wicca when you upload a map its purely so you can get critics about the map. In the state its in now, the map shouldnt be about how its plays out, but the cosmetics of the whole map, as much will problibly change, and the gameplay well, it will change, and I doubt you will get 64 people on at the same time.
You have really captured the feeling I see from the pictures taken from the area.

The only reason im uploading it is so i can test gameplay... I dont really care what people think...

I mean they can rant all they want. But if you wish to "criticize" the map, get on TS and test it with me.
