I don't believe that any clan or admin can be right 100% of the time. Unfortunately for us, we don't see it all and sometimes people lie, sometimes we can make a typing error, sometimes people have common names (example, rhino & hinder could cause an issue if they were banned with "hin.", I've had an issue with this before), sometimes people are hacking, etc. I would rather be known to over enforce rules than to not enforce them at all. Not every HOG member has admin rights. And those that have in game admin rights are not all admins on the website/forum.
In the event that a mistake was made, just come say something about it. If you are having problems registering, try again, or post on here, or PM us here, etc. Short of someone being racist, we will at least talk about the offense and think about changing the ban/kick.
We still fill up everyday so I don't think we've banned the entire community, as one might believe by reading some of the posts(and reposts) from some of the community here. I guess there are two sides to every story, but a lot of the flak coming from this thread doesn't match our logs/ban info, maybe about half. I'm guessing those half are either talking about the other Virginia server, the Hardcore clan, or are just making it up. The other half seem to have legit concerns that would bother me, too.
We do run a tight ship. If someone makes an asset squad before you do, but not before the 1:30 minute marker pre game, they have the right to lock it after two people, and yes they can claim the other assets. They can also choose to let you in if you ask, but they have the right of refusal as well. There are other things to do besides using the heavy assets, and if we let everyone just hop in one when they wanted, there would be no available squads and no infantry on the ground. There is method to the madness.
Another thing that I've seen people getting kicked for lately is just hoping into a trans heli and trying to take off. There isn't a reason to have four or five people vying to be trans pilots, so that is probably why the squad is locked at two people and they are telling you that you can't join. If an admin sees you just trying to run off with one, they aren't going to ask you where you are going first.
If someone has been asked to not fly, it's because they've either admitted to having a jumpy ping, or they could clearly not fly and need to use a training server. We do this to preserve the fun for those that like to ride in the helicopters

. Being a trans pilot is second to a jet pilot as the toughest stuff to do in PR, and it can really ruin a game when new people just hop in with all that life in their hands.
Hope to see you in game
