Running on High, but when setting Textures High, sometimes the game crashes when verifying client data. Pretty Strange, as i can play Crysis and Crysis:Warhead on Very High without problems.

I think PR should cater to the needs of the low end gamer.. i.e me lol. I play on full low, except view distance is 100 as thats a must. My fps is usually like 9-10, im not even kidding

Medium... although my GPU can play maximum smoothly (with 100+ Fps)
But my RAM is only 2GB on Windows 7 and then my FPS will start to drop if I play on maximum...
I have a Palit GeForce 9800 GT Super+ 1GB

I understand your situation and it would be nice to not have to upgrade, but as PR is in constant development you will need to keep up.
So far only ~8% represent the low end whereas ~75% represent the high end, so by pushing the requirements they are catering for the vast majority and advancing the mod.

upgrade costs you about 250$, 4 gigs of ram phenom 720 cpu and the asus m4a pro, which has onboard sound AND graficchip which handles PR fairly well.

I'm running everyting as high as possible with constantly over 100fps, Fallujah runs at 80-90 fps.

if it wasn't for random map loading crashes, I'd have textures on high. but otherwise, everything else is high.

o_0?
Your $250 would be way better spent on a graphics card upgrade than binding yourself to
integrated graphics...

For anyone interested, I ran GPU-Z while playing to measure GPU usage, and at:
- 1680x1050
- 8x AA
- All settings to High
Vram usage averaged ~500MB on Karbala. That means my card's 512MB VRAM was probably a fair bottleneck for quite a few sections

Custom with everything maxed out.
Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
Asus P6T
Intel I7 920
Kingston 6Gb DDR3 1800Mhz
Ati HD 4850
Only have a 17 inch old flatscreen though.
I played with an:
Intel P4 3,2 Ghz
1Gig DDR Ram
Ati X1300
Windows XP
till 4 months ago. I had to turn everything on low to get 15-30 fps, but it was playable, most of the time.

Low, Medium. Bought a 3650 ATI card last week and one extra 1GB RAM so have 2GB RAM now. It works better then before but the performance goes up and down in FPS rapidly, One time I could run everything on high with 40fps, the next day I can only run 35-40 with low medium, I think it has something to do with Service Pack, I cant confirm this but If anyone knows let me know. I suggest people with low RAM to have atleast 2GB because thats a perfect minimum of ram with high performance. And I gotta say that most PR maps are poorly done considering FPS but its such a old engine now so we low suckers really dont have the right to blame
